Free and Open Source Software for Bulgarian NGOs

This is a joint project of the Red House Centre for Culture & Debate and Interspace Media Art Centre, funded by the Open Society Institute - Budapest. The initiative aims to facilitate migration of Bulgarian NGOs to open source software. In the course of 1 year a large number of them will be offered the opportunity to use free services of e-riders. They will install open code software and will train employees in the organization and in the next 2 years will be available for advice and technical support. In addition the project will include a series of lectures, presentations and debates which will promote the advantages of open source software in society.

The project will be launched on 25th February 2003, 5 p.m. at the hall of the Sofia City Gallery (1, Gurko St.)
